New Horizons IT Training (www.newhorizons.com.sg)
The challenge we faced with getting ranking and traffic results for this client was that their website was a subfolder off their main global company website – www.newhorizons.com/Singapore and that they had no control over the website content. Their Singapore domain used to redirect to their .com site sub folder.
Our suggested solution was that they utilise their .com.sg domain and create a mirror site of the main site so they would have better control of their traffic and their local marketing results. We rewrote 60% of the content from their mother site so that they wouldn’t fall foul of Google’s duplicate content filters so within 2 months of the site creation, and with the addition of a blog with our article content, they were finally getting traffic from Google and ranking high for important keywords like IT Training.
New Horizons have now become the #1 IT Training company in Singapore on Google.com.sg. We have worked with this client for over 18 months which is about the time it takes to become a #1 market leader in most industries.
